This recipe makes 2 quarts to refrigerate for making smoothies; however, you can reduce the serving inside the recipe below by reducing the number of people served.
Ingredients
- 8 cups water
- 2 Tbsp fresh ginger root
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a medium saucepan. Slice thinly or grate ginger and add to boiling water. Cover pan, turn off the burner, and let ginger steep for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Hot tea: Strain the ginger and drink while warm.
- Cold tea: Let cool to room temperature, strain ginger while pouring into a 2-quart pitcher, and then refrigerate.
